Seiko Speedtimer Solar Chronograph. Seiko Prospex challenges every limit with timepieces created to exceed expectations, engineered with superior style and innovative technology for the sea, sky, or land. Driven by a heritage of iconic design, Prospex continues to keep going forward with excellence in precision timekeeping, crafted for the modern world. This rugged and stylish watch is a part of a high-intensity collection inspired by classic motorsports in the 1970s, when Seiko’s original 1969 Speedtimer, one of the world’s first self-winding chronographs, was at its prime. The chronograph function measures up to 60 minutes of elapsed time in 1/5-second increments and includes a split time function, while the solar cell, powered by any light source with no battery change required, provides a 6-month power reserve when fully charged. Paying tribute to one of the first Speedtimer models, nicknamed by Seiko fans after a famous astronaut who wore the iconic original into space, this bold timepiece showcases a two-tone red and blue aluminum tachymeter bezel and a vibrant yellow dial with contrasting subdials. In a brilliant sunray finish, the dial also includes a 24-hour display, power reserve indicator, date calendar, and LumiBrite hands and markers for outstanding visibility. Crafted of stainless steel, this sporty model includes a curved anti-reflective sapphire crystal, secure screwdown caseback, and tri-fold push button release clasp. 10 bar, 100M Water Resistant
