Prospex Special Edition. Designed for those who treat life as the ultimate adventure, Seiko Prospex keeps moving forward, meeting every challenge with technological excellence and winning design. With a gradient textured dial evoking the shimmering whites and blues of light reflecting off ice and the patterns of penguin footprints in the snow, this Special Edition automatic diver celebrates conservation efforts in Antarctica, the challenging environment in which the earliest Seiko diver’s watches proved their excellence as essential equipment for the Japanese Antarctic Research Expedition (JARE). Recalling one of Seiko’s most iconic diving styles, this rugged watch features a uni-directional rotating elapsed timing bezel with a deeply grooved edge. Providing reliable timing in the most demanding conditions, the 24-jewel automatic movement beats at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations per hour, with a power reserve of approximately 41 hours, and offers manual winding capability. With magnified day/date calendar, and LumiBrite hands and markers, this high-intensity timepiece, following ISO standards for scuba diving at depths of up to 200 meters, is crafted of stainless steel, with secure screwdown crown and caseback. 200m Water Resistant
