In the early 1990s, Officine Panerai took aim at the civilian market, presenting a collection of three limited-edition watches to an international public of collectors and admirers of the brand. This gave rise to what is now known as the Luminor case – a unique and timeless design featuring a more modern look and clean, minimal lines. The cushion shape has been replaced by a middle-case with squared lines while the bezel has been given a simpler form. The distinctive lever bridge protecting the winding crown ensures the watch’s water-resistance to great depths.
